The new multi-building U.S. Embassy complex includes a Chancery, U.S. Marine Corps residence, warehouse, a support annex, utility building, parking garage, and community facilities on a nine-acre site. The design reflects the region’s material palette and design motifs.
U.S. Embassy Chancery Addition and Campus Renovation – Helsinki

The project renovated the existing 5-story office annex of 33,809 sf and the 4-story building that houses an ambassador and Marine Security Guard contingent. The upgrade provided the facility chancery with additional space supporting modern workplace functionality, and also updated the buildings to contemporary standards for sustainability.
U.S. New Consulate Compound (NCC) – Lagos

The new compound includes a consulate office building, a warehouse, access control buildings, utility buildings, a recreational facility, Marine Guard Residence, parking garage, and site improvements. The design employed resilient and sustainable design strategies, and incorporated local design traditions.

This project for new U.S. Embassy complex is located on two sites. It provided more than 11,000 SM of space within a New Office Building and New Office Annex; Marine Security Guard Quarters; a utility building; and access control facilities. Another site hold multiple support buildings.
U.S. New Consulate Compound (NCC) - Curacao

This new compound includes a New Office Building along with multiple specialized buildings that serve access, support, and security purposes on a 5.8 site. The work also modernized two existing historic buildings to support public events. The design respects the local architectural context, and emphasizes sustainability.

This design-build project includes multiple buildings, notably a 62,300 sf consulate as well as various support buildings for consulate and diplomatic operations. The design employs a palette of local materials such as stone and wood, and in the traditional techniques of construction as well as multiple sustainable features.
